I’m a third generation scrapbooker, which means I come from a distinguished line of pack rats. I have my grandmother’s scrapbook which includes memorabilia from junior high through her early married years. It’s priceless. Unfortunately, my dad hasn’t been able to find his scrapbooks.
I was taught the down and dirty method of keepsaking. And that’s still my favorite style. Instead of carefully designing pretty frilly pages with stamps and other color-coordinated decorations, I spontaneously paste random scraps in blank books.
If you think about it, God is the original Family Historian. Of course, when he wrote down all the days ordained for me in His book, He was “remembering” the future. That’s pretty trippy!
